The premiere of the hit movie BRAVEHEART was held in Stirling and the image below (right) shows shells bursting over Stirling Castle in celebration of the event. The premiere of another popular movie, LOCHNESS, was also celebrated by firing a display out over the Loch from the shore


Hogmanay is widely celebrated wherever Scots gather at home or abroad and this picture (left) shows a multiple burst of shells fired from Gowan Hill in Stirling to augment the local New Year celebrations.
